Sixpoint is releasing the last cans in their current taproom on October 26thadmin
Sixpoint Brewery will be releasing the last cans in their current taproom this weekend. After that, the brewery is taking a release hiatus until they move into their new brewery and taproom in Gowanus in Brooklyn, New York.
That taproom has seen 26 can releases. 65 new beer releases. This weekend, Sixpoint wraps it all up with three special releases.
On October 26th, Mega Raspy, The Mayor, and Double Oaked Master Blend will be available
- Mega Raspy – A “mega” edition inspired by the previous Raspy releases. Mega Raspy is described as an “insane” berry medley that is a big 10% ABV
- The Mayor – Imperial IPA, brewed in honor of Mark Speigel, the “Mayor of Sixpoint” that has been to nearly every Sixpoint release. Mark passed away last year. A hazy IPA with Idaho 7, Galaxy, Mandarina, Simcoe, and Centennial.
- Double Oaked Master Blend – Brewed in collaboration with Jameson and the Caskmates Program. A 14.5% double aged imperial stout.
All three releases will be available in 12-ounce cans on Saturday, October 26th started at 11 am.
